I was going to post some photos of the scarf I finished knitting today, but for some reason the digital camera software is not cooperating. Hopefully I can get Bill to help me figger it out tomorrow. This week I did the unheard of for my lately-old-lady-self: went out twice on weeknights. Wednesday was much fun. I met up with a Friendster fella and we hit it off pretty well: lots in common in terms of music, movies, TV, and other pop cultural ephemera. Plus he's cute and has nice tattoos. Thursday I went on my own and ended up having a longer than expected/necessary conversation with JP-ex. He'd been drinking for half the night already and went on about how he has always felt guilty about how we ended. I was surprised and sort of appalled that he still thinks about it after such a long time. He's got this whole purity thing that I still find perplexing. Last night, Friendster Fella came over and the gang went out to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner and then went to see Once Upon a Time in Mexico, which kicked so much ass. I can't get over the image of Johnny Depp's character near the end of the movie (not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it). It seems strange to say that it was 'cool' but damn if it wasn't fucking cool. So an overall amazing weekend, and with still over a day left. Hell yeah.
