So here's that chenille scarf I finished on Sunday:

I really like the rich texture of this yarn, and it knits very quickly, but it is semi-annoying to work with because it's so fat. I'm working on one now that's made from an eensy-beensy chenille yarn, and I'm doing it on fat needles, so it's a very loose, open weave. I'm very pleased with it so far.
In other exciting news, yesterday's Morning Sun listed a meeting of the the local knitters guild, so I'm going to check that out on Thursday. Hopefully it's not all biddy-bun-heads. I'm hopeful, though. The woman I talked to about it said that they don't care about your skill level, there are no requirements, and it's all for fun, so it sounds good.
