We survived the ice storm thus far, but more about that later. For now, I'm going to look at more Fall 2006 collections as I sit under an afghan and use my laptop as a source of both entertainment and physical warmth.


Take away the stringy embellishment thingies and this Peter Jensen is an ensemble I'd wear. I'm not usually one to pick green, but I like the combination of these tones.


Although the waist is a bit high, this Paul Smith Women outfit is lovely, though the waist is a bit high for my comfort, and I definitely am not into the visinipple. This deranged patternblind office assistant look, though, not so much. And speaking of high waists, this Acuascutum is also very attractive but I'm not sure anyone with curves can pull off the look.

On a general note, I'm very pleased to see that scarves still look to be in vogue, and happily there are a lot of (scarves and otherwise) knitted items on the runway.
