fence!

Our new fence was installed earlier this week, and today the final piece: the gate. I'm so happy that it's finally in! No more crappy wooden fence with pieces broken out by the neighbors' insanely ill-behaved and uncontrolled dogs!

Hopefully on Friday we'll get a yard of soil that I'll spread out along the side fence and then I'll get to planting! The area along the fence gets good sun most of the day, so I'm going to do some veggies along there as well as some flowers interspersed, probably some marigolds and possibly some other annuals. I'm generally not big on annuals, but I'd like to get a little color going right away, and I'll probably have some established stuff ready to move next year.

Now that the fence is in place, I can also plant the rest of the veggie garden at the back of the backyard (I was waiting so that the area wouldn't get trampled by the installers). Hopefully I can get those veggies in the ground this weekend. I also need to do some major weeding, and find a natural way to get rid of moles. Anyone had success with banishing the little bastards?

Looks good. For some reason when you said vinyl I kept thinking baggy. But that's just because I know diddly.
