oh sweet merciful crap for crap

K. helped me and we finally finally got this blog up and running again after Captain Fucktard messed everything up. Lots of more updates to come, but for now it's time to eat something.

All day yesterday I was singing that to myself while I was at work. No idea how it got in my head. I'm definitely in the mood for the xmas spirit, though - can't decorate around the casa yet though, because the hardwood floors are being repaired and refinished, so all the furniture from the living and dining rooms is stuffed into all the other rooms on the first floor. It's cozy. Or something. But it'll be worth it. I refinished the floors myself last time, and I'm not a professional, so the results weren't professional.

And on to the knitting:
I finished up the sets I was going for the adopt-a-family through work. I did a set for their 5-year old:


and one for their 10-year old:

I also made another pair of mittens:

My next project, I think, will be some arm/hand warmers for use in my office, where is it more often than not too cold for my bones. I end up getting mouse-hand almost every day. I'm going to invent the pattern as I go, so we'll see how it turns out.
