That's Mrs. LibrariAnne to you

So I'm back from a brief hiatus during which K & I got hitched, had a fabulous honeymoon in Jamaica, and are now back at home living in wedded bliss. I've been busy catching up on work and house stuff so I've been lazy about posting. I'd like to post a cool photo, but haven't sorted any of them out yet.

Roland St. Jude alerted me to this hilarious article about the latest run of holiday Jones Soda. K and I already tried the Caramel Apple variety, and, each having had more than enough while sharing one teensy tiny can, have abandoned the other three cans to the back of the fridge. Maybe Dan will drink them. EDIT: K ended up drinking the rest of them, unbeknownst to me. His tolerance is higher than mine. Sorry, Dan.

In knitting news, several of my friends are having babies momentarily so I've been busy with projects for them. Next I'd like to make myself a Ravenclaw scarf (the version seen in Prisoner of Azkaban movie, I think). Anyone seen any good screengrabs around that picture them? Or any from the forthcoming Goblet of Fire?

Brodie the starlet

I happened to catch Brodie in a quiet mood earlier this weekend and got some great photos of him.

Logan wasn't anywhere near as cooperative. If she's at all awake and you're sitting on the floor, she wants to be immediately next to you which doesn't work so well for taking photos.

We're almost done with total overhauls of the guest bedroom and the front room. I'm so excited! I'm also excited that K and I will be getting married less than two weeks from today. Yipes! We've got a lot left to do, but mostly little things, so I'm sure we'll have them done in time.

In knitting news, the felted cloche I made turned out great, but it's just this much too small for me. I'm still very pleased with it, considering that I made the pattern up as I went along and it was my first attempt at felting. Next time I'll know that it needs less time in the water. I'm almost done with another felted project. Hopefully I'll finish the knitting on that and felt it later this weekend.
