Freedom of what?

The next great idea from Congress (under intense lobbying from some big businesses) is to take away net neutrality. What does this mean for us? Providers would be able to decide which pages would load quickly and which would not, and which pages wouldn't load at all. For a way more eloquent discussion you can check out here or here. I find it disturbing that this in the works. Sometime it seems like the government has totally forgotten the point of our country.
