Frothy

We have returned. It was a lovely week at Disney, although the high point for me was more about seeing Roland's parents this time. We stayed at one of the All Star Resorts (Sports) which was nice. Nothing special, but being one of the budget resorts that is to be expected. We visited all the parks except Downtown Disney, some more than once.

In the past we have taken some tours that were very interesting and fun so this time, being the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT, I wanted to go on the Gardens of the World Tour. Holy Giant Mistakes Batman! I think that tour could have been sweet...BUT, the guide was terrible and all she did was take us around the world and point out the things they put out for the festival (a lot of topiaries and whatnot). It was one of the most boring things I've done in a long time. I think it also sticks out so much because the other tours we've done have been so great. I got so bored during the tour that I was thinking about my boredom and the boredom of the people with me. So, to give myself something to do I decided to document this to show the world just how uninteresting this woman was.


Here are Chris and Jim listening to this women tell us that the flower we were looking at was an orchid (which was not only obvious from the flower, but the little placard they had posted right next to it also gave it away).



Jim almost looks like he is in pain, which on further consideration he probably was. Then we have Mom and Dad C. trying to find it interesting that "Orchids are beautiful, if hard to grow plants."



Other than that our trip was awesome...oh wait, except for where Roland got me sick and now I don't feel particularly well. Stupid germs.
