Nerd Fighters

Thanks to Brotherhood 2.0 for pointing me to Threadless T-Shirts. My favorites would be this one (suprising since orange isn't my usual choice) , this one (that Hank was showing off), and this one (very sad that it is out of stock). I also liked this one.

Still Addicted

So, I'm enjoying watching Brotherhood 2.0 every weekday. Today's installment involved watchers wishing Hank a happy birthday. You should check it out, for in it you can see CreepyKarl, Anne, Brogan. I did not participate in this one. My creativity has been at an abysmal low lately and I couldn't think of anything to do.

Hey, wait a minute.

Okay, this absolutely cracked me up, but I don't know if I can explain it in a way that imparts the full funny. And perhaps it won't be as funny to you. I'm going to tell you anyway.

I went over to my favorite evening entertainment, Brotherhood 2.0 and watched today's installment. It made me smile, even though John (I feel weird calling him John, it's not like I know him or anything) has pink eye which looks like anti-fun. He sang a nice ditty about putting stuff on your head. While singing he, naturally, put many different things on his head...for effect. Examples include: a cereal box, a map, a magazine, and a bowl. Then I clicked on the comments and started skimming them. I wasn't really reading all of them, just the ones that caught my eye. This one did:

"Dood! We totally have that same bowl! See the proof. Hope your pinkeye is better soon."

So I had to click on the link (and so should you) and nearly fell of my chair with the laughing.

It IS worse the second time

So the whole video blog thing that Anne and I are indulging in was inspired by an author Anne is familiar with, John Green (An Abundance of Katherines, Looking for Alaska) and his brother Hank. After finding that their relationship was turning almost completely textual, they decided to go for a whole year of textless communication. They are calling it Brotherhood 2.0. I find it highly amusing and recommend you check it out. There is one video blog post a day for each weekday alternating between them. As part of this project if they miss a day or use textual communication there are punishments. Today was the first such occasion as John accidentally cc'd Hank on an email he sent. Seriously, although a bit disturbing in that I find it funny, watching a man find out the joy that is waxing made me laugh out loud.

Question: Why didn't the Yeti warn him to pull the skin taut before pulling?
