Another evening in North Muskegon we invited people over for a nice afternoon at Roland's parents' house. They have a pool and a grill, so it makes for a fun time, especially now that many of our friends have kids. One of the highlights was when Mila, our niece, discovered Bleys' crate. She decided that it was just about her size. There are some more pictures of her adventures with the crate including one where she tries to get in the crate with Bleys already in it. It was awesome.

Dress
Roland's dad sent of over some of the pictures he took at Disney last week. This is one of Mila in a dress that I made! I'm so glad that it worked out that she was the right size in the right season. The day she wore this we went over into Mickey's Toon Town Fair to visit the play area and fountain there. And a lady even asked to take a picture of the dress so she could ask her mother to make one for her daughter. Too bad the place where I found this fabric went out of business.

Pudding
Roland and I got home yesterday from another trip to Disney. We spent a little time there with his Mom, Dad, sister, niece, and brother-in-law. It was a nice trip, although on the hot side. We don't usually visit this time of year and I had forgotten just how hot it can get out there in the sun. I much prefer the cooler months for waling around so much.
This was taken at the restaurant in Italy. Mila got the chocolate pudding with bananas. At first she didn't realize there were bananas in there, but when she did she ditched the spoon and went face first into the dish. It was awesome.

Snuggler
Here is a picture of my niece Mila. I took this while I was up in Michigan and staying at the Cleveland abode. Here she is snuggling with Mrs. Cleveland, isn't she adorable? Marcie is just waiting for her hair to grow in a bit so that she looks more clearly female, but I think she's super cute. She is only 9 months and already cruising around the house. But her legs aren't quite ready to hold her up yet so she takes a lot of spills. She seems to take them in stride though, maybe it's all the padding from the diaper.

As promised
Here are some of the pictures from Mila's debut. I have more, but they will have to wait until I have access to my beloved Photoshop again. Man do I miss Photoshop.
Mila's very first minute! They don't come newer than this. You can see Ben's hand reaching in to cut the cord.

Mila gets weighed...and Aunt Susan shoves the nurse out of the way to get a picture ;)

Ben holds his daughter for the first time.

Mom C. and her first grandchild. She reports that it may have been easier to give birth to her three children than watch her daughter go through that kind of pain. Difficult or not she was a great support for Marcie.

A very proud Grandpa Cleveland. I think he would have stayed in the room if Marcie had let him. He wanted very much to be as supportive as possible.

Aunt Susan
Welcome to the world Mila Elizabeth Lehman. Born at 3:06, February 18th 2007. She weighs in at 7 pounds 11 ounces and is 20 inches long. She is positively gorgeous (ok, so I might not be the most objective judge).
Pictures to come soon...I'm still at the hospital so there is no way to download them from my camera.

Mark
Not much to report here. I've just been hanging out at the Cleveland's house making my self useful. Today I shoveled the driveway again, finished laundering the last of the baby clothes. They are now pre-washed and hung or folded as they should be. I also put together a bouncy seat (with fun aquarium accoutrements) and a diaper changing table, I installed the car seat base in Marcie's car (although we still need to go get it checked by a professional) and boiled all the bottles and bottle accessories. Nearly all the bottles had this oily film on them, but it came off in the sanitation process. I'm running out of things to clean/arrange so Marcie needs to have this kid soon!
